Dragon Ball Z
The Z-fighters are a group
of heros who fight to save Earth from the
deadliest of villians. But there are DragonBalls that if whoever finds it
they
will be given the chance by a Dragon to have 3 wishes. Goku and the rest of
the Z-fighters must protect earth from any harm at any cost.
Goku
is the hero of Dragon Ball Z, the most powerful warrior on earth and
the first to become Super Saiyan in over 1,000 years. When the Saiyans
arrive, Goku learns the mysterious secret of his own past: he is a Saiyan
formerly named Kakarot. Goku was sent to Earth as a baby to grow up and
destroy the planet, but a head injury as a child scrambled Goku's
programming. Instead of growing up to become a destructive super-warrior,
he
became innocent and pure of heart, fighting for good ("You mean some
poor dragon...?")
Named after his adoptive grandfather, Gohan is Goku
and Chi-Chi's eldest
son. He is idealistic, good, and pure like his father. Gohan reveals his
tremendous fighting potential when the earth is threatened. His heritage as
part Saiyan and part human make him stronger than if he were of one race
alone.
As a young boy, Krillin studied martial arts with Goku under Master Roshi.
Originally, he and Goku were fierce rivals, but now they are best friends.
A
short, bald warrior, Krillin provides comic relief in tense situations as
he
tries to keep up with Goku and some of the other more powerful warriors. A
good fighter on his own accord, he's always there to help Goku. He can and
has saved his friend's life more than once. In fact, Krillin unleashes an
incredibly powerful energy blast shaped like a flying disk that can slice
through mountaintops.
In Dragon Ball, Bulma was a mixed up teenager with blue hair and a
personality quirk that wouldn't allow her to shut up for a second. Now,
she's blossomed into a mixed up woman with that same personality quirk. But,
Bulma is very important to the team. She is a mechanical genius who can
operate and fix anything. She is the one that discovers the capabilities of
the Saiyan Scouter and enhances it for their own use. She also takes the
lead in finding a spaceship capable of flying to Namek. Bulma designed the
Dragon Radar, which tracks the locations of the Dragon Balls
Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi-Chi, and is Gohan's little brother.
Goten loves to train in martial arts. He quickly develops incredibly strong
powers (he naturally goes Super Saiyan) that enable him to fight alongside
the adults in their mission to defend earth.
Vegeta is a powerful Saiyan. He is a "Super Elitist" and a prince,
the son
of King Vegeta, past ruler of the Saiyans. Vegeta and his comrade Nappa are
two of the last surviving Saiyans. They come to Earth to destroy all life
and sell the planet. Though physically smaller than Goku, Vegeta can power
up to unbelievable levels destroying entire planets. He is a fierce rival
of
Goku's, striving always to seek power levels as high or higher than Goku and
to reach Super Saiyan level. Ambitious and determined, Vegeta wants the
Dragon Balls to gain immortality. He is determined to destroy Frieza. After
the Namek Saga, he fights on the side of the good guys and becomes the
father of Trunks.
Androids 17 and 18 are teenage Androids. They are the ones responsible for
the future threat to the Earth, prompting Trunks to come back to this time
on Earth from the future to stop them. #17 is a black haired boy and #18 is
a cute blond girl. Although she never stops being evil, #18 later softens
up
a little.
Haughty, malicious, seemingly invincible and power-hungry with absolutely
no
compassion, Frieza is feared as the most powerful and evil being in the
universe with no rival being even close to his strength. Upon learning about
the legendary Namekian Dragon Balls, Frieza is consumed with a desire to
obtain the Dragon Balls, summon the Dragon, and gain his wish for
immortality. Then he can rule the entire universe, unrivaled, forever.
Understanding the capability of the Saiyans as fighters, he eliminates their
planet to destroy the competition. In his search for the Dragon Balls on
Namek, he ruthlessly and predictably eliminates all who get in his way. The
very mention of his name strikes dread and fear across the universe.
Buu,
or Majin Buu, was conjured into existence long ago by the evil wizard
Bibidi. A powerful fighter who has destroyed many planets in his past, Buu?s
body is ?rubbery? giving him great advantage in battles. He has now been
unleashed by Bibidi?s son, Babidi, to destroy Earth.
A
strong, powerful, Saiyan warrior, Raditz comes to Earth originally to look
for Goku, his brother. Angry and intolerant, Raditz can't understand why it
has taken so long for his little brother to destroy the helpless humans.
Ruthless like all the Saiyans, Raditz plays on Goku's emotions by lying to
his him to avoid being destroyed. The minute he is saved however, he
instantly turns on Goku. His last words reveal that two even more powerful
Saiyans will be coming to Earth in one year in order to destroy it. And,
unfortunately, his Scouter (technologically advanced eyepiece which gives
location and power rating of opponents) transmits information about the
Dragon Balls to the Saiyans.

Saiyan Info:
Saiyan (Saiya-Jin) - The Saiyan people are a fighting race from the planet Vegeta that was destroyed by Frieza a while ago. Also, Frieza ruled cruelly over the Saiyans for a very long time. Very few of them survived but, among the survivors, there was Goku (of course), Vegeta, Nappa, and Broly. All Saiyans are born with hair that does not grow, and it's black. Although, half saiyans' and even quarter saiyans' hair grows and it's not necessarily black. The Saiyans have tails and, if pulled, will cause the Saiyan to be temporarily immobile. If the Saiyan loses a battle and is close to death, and recovers, he gets stronger.
Oozaru - The Oozaru is the monkey-like form that a Saiyan becomes if exposed to a full moon. The Oozary is stronger than the regular Saiyan and, if you take the power level of the Saiyan at the time of the transformation, and multiply it by ten, you get their power as an Oozaru. The large monkey-like Oozaru is virtually almost unstoppable due to it's tremendous size and strength.
Super Saiyan - A Super Saiyan is almost like an advanced form of the Saiyan. The first time a Saiyan transforms her experiences great pain and a surge of power. But, after they transform, it gets easier and easier every time they try. The most apparent change is their hair, of course. Instead of their black hair, it changes into a bright blonde and also, a bright yellow glow that surrounds them. After a while of tranforming, their muscles tend to get larger, and their hair becomes a bit whiter.
Ultra Super Saiyan - Although this is not really the next "step" it's still included. Well, the Saiyan's muscles get bigger and he becomes stronger but, in turn, he becomes slower due to his muscles. Trunks used this in order to beat Cell, but sadly, he failed...
Super Saiyan 2 - As you can see, there is yet another level to the Saiyan's power. This level makes their muscles look larger but yet, it also makes them faster too. Also, their hair points upward more, and there are blue bolts of lightning around their yellow glow.
Super Saiyan 3 - This is a really advanced level of a Saiyan, and not too far of them have reached this level at all. The most noticeable changes are their hair gets longer, down to their knees, and their eyebrows totally disappear. Goku and Gotenks are the only ones known of that accomplished SSJ3.
Super Saiyan 4 - This isn't really a Saiyan...it's more like a cross between a Oozaru and a Saiyan. Their strength is virtually immeasurable. Their normal hair color is returned but, it's a bit longer. This from is very cruel and it expresses no feelings whatsoever. The Saiyan's body is covered in thick red fur and they must have their tail back in order to accomplish SSJ4.
No people, there is NO Super Saiyan 5. Yes, it WAS a rumor!
